Free Support Group to Help Those Caring for an Aging Loved One
Wesley Enhanced Living (WEL), a personal care community located at 7040 Oxford Avenue, will host a free, monthly support group for those who are caring for an aging loved one. A licensed social worker will facilitate the group, which is set to gather the last Thursday of every month, January- May, from 6:30-8:00 pm, with the first meeting to begin on January 29th. The group will discuss and explore a range of key concerns including caregiver stress and burnout, family dynamics, and future planning. Caregivers may choose as many sessions as they want to attend.
