Media, PA (May 16, 2016) — In continuing with tradition, Wesley Enhanced Living Main Line will host the 14th Annual Wesley Enhanced Living Main Line Leadership Award Celebration on Wednesday, May 25 beginning at 6:30 pm at their Continuing Care Retirement Community located at 100 Halcyon Drive, Media, PA.  Emmy-winning journalist Doug Shimell will serve as Emcee and entertainment will be provided by The Bobby Block Trio.  Jeff Petty, President and CEO of Wesley Enhanced Living, and Linda Sterthous, Executive Director of Wesley Enhanced Living Main Line, will present the awards to this year’s recipients, ACME Markets and Sheila Schneider. ACME Markets has been charitable to the community-at-large over the years, and particularly to Wesley Enhanced Living Main Line. Several years ago, then ACME President Jim Perkins donated generators and supplies to Martins Run, helping over 250 residents stay connected and warm during a debilitating major winter storm.  Accepting the award on behalf of ACME will be Dan Dosenbach, ACME’s Vice President of Human Resources and Labor Relations. Schneider is presently an active member of the Wesley Enhanced Living Main Line Advisory Board, and works tirelessly toward fundraising efforts.  She has donated her time on the Martins Run Board of Trustees, holding several major posts, has been active in planning the annual Leadership Award event in previous years and has been a Tribute Book Chair.  A geriatric social worker by trade, she has been a board member of the American Cancer Society of Lower Merion and also for Eldernet of Lower Merion/Narberth. Proceeds raised at the Wesley Enhanced Living Leadership Award celebration benefit the Resident Assistance Fund, which provides financial aid to subsidize living expenses of campus residents in need.  Thanks in large part to fundraising efforts like this one, Wesley Enhanced Living Main Line has never turned away a current resident for inability to meet financial requirements.
