PHILADELPHIA, PA (July 16, 2015) — Wesley Enhanced Living (WEL) announces the launch of new, cutting-edge holistic therapies.  Traditional methods of care, plus a unique combination of gentle, caring holistic techniques including reiki, EFT tapping, seated tai chi, animal-assisted therapy and laugher yoga, are now in place at Wesley Enhanced Living’s Burholme community.  In addition, a signature scent developed solely for WEL, aptly called Pure Serenity, is being used in the aromatherapy program, which incorporates the scent in a variety of approaches including massage and essential oil diffusion.

Wesley Enhanced Living is focused on making a compelling difference in the lives of our residents through providing excellence and innovation in aging services; the addition of new holistic therapies is yet another example of our dedication to our mission.

WEL Burholme, a personal care community located at 7040 Oxford Avenue, will host a free open house on Saturday, July 25th from 2 pm – 4 pm to introduce the new holistic therapies in practice at the community to the public.  The event will feature free aromatherapy hand massages and a cooking demonstration with Whole Foods Market.  Attendees are encouraged to join the laughter yoga class at 2pm or experience tapping (EFT), reiki, and sample some of the new healthy food offerings.
