Wesley Enhanced Living has earned re-certification as a Great Place to Work by Great Place to Work Institute and Activated Insights for the eighth year. The certification process involved surveying 100% of employees from across Wesley Enhanced Living’s five locations and corporate office and evaluating more than 60 elements of team members’ experience on the job. These included employee pride in the organization’s community impact, belief that their work makes a difference, and feeling their work has special meaning.
87% of employees rated Wesley Enhanced Living a great place to work, 30% above the benchmark for typical US-based companies. Employees emphasized their passion in helping the residents and their appreciation for their co-workers and the organization.
“We applaud Wesley Enhanced Living for seeking certification and publicly sharing its employees’ feedback,” said Dr. Jacquelyn Kung, of Great Place to Work’s senior care partner Activated Insights. “These ratings measure the organization’s capacity to earn its own employees’ trust and create a great workplace for high performance.”
CEO Jeff Petty does not take the high employee trust rating lightly. “Our employees are at the heart of all that we do,” he says. “Ensuring that we are supporting them with the same dedication that they show our residents is paramount. The Great Place to Work survey is a helpful pulse check and informs on how we can continue to improve the employee experience.”
