Wesley Enhanced Living To Restart Informational Tours for Montgomery County Residents – with Added Safety Protections

Warminster, Pa. (July 9, 2020) – Through July, Wesley Enhanced Living (WEL) communities are beginning to once again offer informational open house sessions for local seniors and families interested in exploring the benefits of a senior living community. And these tours will align with CDC recommended safety protocols.

“Now more than ever, we recognize the need to protect the residents in our care while welcoming new members to our community,” says Shelley Ballet, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales. “Even during these challenging times, we take great pride in doing everything we can to promote wellness – both physically, emotionally and spiritually – among our residents and staff.”

Amenities at the WEL Upper Moreland senior living community in Montgomery County have been recently updated to better serve and accommodate senior residents.

At WEL Upper Moreland, the recent renovations consist of:

  • new lobby with expanded seating;
  • addition of a Bistro and Pub restaurant, offering tavern-style options;
  • development of a movie theater, featuring comfortable seating and wide-screen projection, as well as a fireplace lounge for resident use;
  • creation of a TV lounge with expanded seating;
  • updated main dining room; and
  • renovated gift shop, library and chapel.

WEL Upper Moreland Open House Dates:

  • Wednesday, July 22: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

These tours will be modified to protect the health of current residents, and will include temperature checks, social distancing and the use of appropriate PPE.

At WEL Main Line, renovations have improved infrastructure in various areas throughout the community, including:

  • updated grand entrance;
  • addition of a pub area with new menu options;
  • redesigned dining and living rooms; and
  • improved Personal Care and Skilled Nursing area.

Wesley Enhanced Living Wishes Over 25 Graduating Employees “WEL”

Warminster, PA (June 18, 2020) – Across its six senior living communities in Pennsylvania, Wesley Enhanced Living (WEL) is celebrating over 25 employees as they graduate from their respective high schools or colleges this year.

The WEL employee team is made of a diverse group of individuals, each bringing different backgrounds, ideas and insights that are dedicated to WEL’s mission of making a compelling difference in the lives of senior residents through providing excellence and innovation in aging services.

The certification process considered results from more than 1,000 employee surveys from seven Wesley Enhanced Living locations throughout Bucks, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.

Wesley Enhanced Living Upper Moreland Celebrates Milestone

Hatboro senior living community highlights new offerings for Montgomery County seniors from the $3M investment

Warminster, Pa. (January 27, 2020) – Wesley Enhanced Living (WEL) Upper Moreland is celebrating the completion of a six-month renovation project, bringing new and updated amenities to seniors in Montgomery County.

“This is a very exciting time at Wesley Enhanced Living,” exclaimed Maureen Casey, Executive Director of both WEL Upper Moreland and WEL Burholme communities. “Our team is thrilled to offer and collaborate in a space that better accommodates and supports resident engagement.”

WEL Upper Moreland consists of 200 apartments and cottages in a total of 184,000-square-feet. Renovations included:

  • an updated lobby area and main dining room;
  • addition of a Bistro and Pub restaurant;
  • development of a movie theater and fireplace lounge;
  • creation of a TV lounge with expanded seating;
  • as well as a renovated gift shop, library and chapel.

On Tuesday, January 21, Wesley Enhanced Livingstaff hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the $3 million investment in updates throughout the community. The ceremony was attended by residents, friends and family of those at the senior living community in Hatboro.
