The inaugural “Best” list recognizes Philadelphia-area non-profit’s company culture and employee engagement among the best in the country
Warminster, PA (September 27, 2018) — FORTUNE recognized Wesley Enhanced Living, a non-profit organization that operates six continuing care retirement communities across the Philadelphia region, as one of the “Best Workplaces in Aging Services” nationally. Wesley Enhanced Living is the only Pennsylvania-based aging services provider to have made the FORTUNE list.
FORTUNE ranked Wesley Enhanced Living 11 out of 40 providers in the nation in its inaugural list. FORTUNE determined the rankings of each organization based on several criteria including company culture and employee experiences.
“We are humbled to be included in the inaugural FORTUNE ‘Best Workplaces in Aging Services’ list,” said Jeff Petty, president and chief executive officer of Wesley Enhanced Living. “We are deeply appreciative of our employees, who collectively make this organization the wonderful place it is to work.”
The FORTUNE “Best Workplaces in Aging Services” is based on survey answers that Wesley Enhanced Living employees provided earlier this year. Great Place to Work®, the research and consulting firm that creates many of the “Great Workplaces” lists that are published in FORTUNE each year, commissioned the survey.
