Wesley Enhanced Living – Stapeley Selling Sweets and Creating Care Packages to Benefit Ukraine
Warminster, PA (April 13, 2022) — The senior residents and staff at Wesley Enhanced Living (WEL) Stapeley caringly assembled over 60 care packages and hosted multiple fund raising events to benefit the children of the Ukraine.
The residents of WEL Stapeley have collected blankets, baby bottles, first aid items, flashlights and more to use in the creation of care packages. All care packages will be distributed to the families temporarily staying at various shelters in neighboring countries. Collection bins located in the main entrance of the community for these items have also been set up for anyone wishing to support their ongoing efforts.
WEL Stapeley residents as well as staff are also caring for those in need by selling sweet treats at a weekly bake sale, occurring every Friday, with all proceeds going to the effort.
“Our residents watch the news reports on the situation in the Ukraine and they feel a sense of duty to help in any way they can. They feel honored to be able to donate their time and resources to support this great cause, “says Christiana Galat, WEL Stapeley Activities Coordinator.
For monetary donations please contact Christiana Galat.
