Update for all WEL Main Line Residents and Staff– 10/8/2021
There are no new positives to report from any unit. Our one positive resident continues to recover.
The positivity in Delaware County has stayed steady above 5 at 5.4%. We will continue with current visitation protocols.
Please remember to notify wellness if you are feeling unwell and staff should contact their supervisors for direction on what to do if you feel symptoms.
Some of you are already aware that Mike Pollard, our Director of Facilities will be leaving us very soon for another opportunity. I wanted to thank him for his partnership during not only the construction project, but also during the covid pandemic. Mike was a steady hand for both his staff and our community as a whole. I am sorry to see him go, but happy with his decision regarding his life’s path. Please join me in wishing him well. The search for his replacement is ongoing.
When one door closes, another opens. Please join me in welcoming our Reverend Tom Lilly, our new chaplain. Most of you are aware that Rabbi Meryl retired a few months back and after an exhaustive search, we found Tom! He had a long journey to come to us, but he is now settling into our fold. Please join me in welcoming Tom to our community.
