Wesley Enhanced Living at Stapeley Executive Director update 7/22/2021

Dear Residents, Families and Employees:

As I indicated last week, we are making Covid 19 vaccinations mandatory for all Employees. Our CEO, Jeff Petty, granted an interview with a local newspaper this week, detailing our thoughts and reasoning for making the decision to mandate (there are exemptions for medical and religious reasons).  While we are one of the leaders in our industry making this decision, the belief is that at some point, all long-term care providers will be doing the same. Here is a link to the article, if you would like a print out just let me know.

I strongly recommend all Residents and family members be vaccinated. Unvaccinated family members may not visit Residents of the Health Care Center or Personal except by special arrangement.  Despite how eager we are to return to the days before the pandemic, we must accept that mutations of the virus are still of major concern, with the reality of the Delta variant being a risk particularly for the unvaccinated.  Thank you for helping us keep this community we all share as safe as possible.

For compliments or concerns, you can always contact me at kbeiler@wel.org or 215-991-7101

With gratitude,

Ken Beiler

Executive Director, Wesley Enhanced Living at Stapeley
