Dear Residents, Families and Employees:
FDA approval for a booster for those who received the Pfizer vaccine has occurred. We have the dates for all our booster vaccine clinics; they will be Wednesday, 10/20 and Thursday, 10/21/2021 with times as follows:
- 1200 to 1300- Independent Living Residents in their apartments
- 1300 to 1400- Personal Care Residents in their apartments
- 1400 to 1600- Employees in the Rec Room
- 1200 to1300- Bridges Residents
- 1300 to 1500- HCC Residents in their rooms
- 1500 to 1600- Employees in the Rec Room
Due to the nature of the storage of this vaccine, we will not be able to do any additional times during these dates. If you cannot be present at the above times, there are many other options to obtain the booster in the community, i.e. your local pharmacy, Walmart, etc. If you need assistance, please let me know and I will help you schedule your appointment.
The grand opening of the Gathering Place Resident lounge was a great success. We are looking to create shuffleboard Teams and have identified two Employees who will teach and coach anyone interested. Please let me know if you are interested. We have added a Keurig machine and coffee pods to the room also. Feel free to bring your own mug to help support our green initiatives. All Residents are invited to make it a part of your daily routine to stop in, have a cup of coffee, chat with your neighbors or read the paper.
