WEL Upper Moreland Update 5/13/2021

Dear Residents, Families and Staff,

The positivity rates have been decreasing over the past few weeks. Hopefully the rate will continue to move downward and keep us all at a safe level.

We have no new resident or employee COVID-19 positive cases. The CDC, DOH and DHS are releasing new criteria on a weekly and sometimes daily basis regarding the guidelines for exposure, testing, visitation and activities.

Your chance of being infected is greatly increased without vaccination. The greatest protection from the virus and the severity of the virus is to become fully vaccinated and maintain distance from other people.

Friendship Pharmacy, our provider of pharmacy services to our personal care residents, are able to provide either the J&J or Moderna vaccine.  The list of reasons to be vaccinated is long, and a major aspect will be the freedom to visit.

Here is the link to register to receive your vaccine through our pharmacy:

You can also obtain your vaccine through the following link:

COVID-19 Vaccines | PA.GOV

If you or your Family Member here are still not vaccinated, I strongly urge you to consider doing so.

At this time we are not allowing any family or guests to dine in our Dining Room. Take out and deliveries can be ordered and taken to the resident’s apartment.

Thank you and stay WEL!

Daniel Frost

Executive Director
