Dear Residents, Families and Staff,
During this past weekend we were notified that 4 more of our IL residents have tested positive for COVID-19 along with 2 of our staff testing positive.
The residents and staff members who have tested positive have isolated themselves away from other residents and staff for minimum of 5 days. After isolating for 5 days the individuals are required to wear a well fitted mask for an additional 5 days. Residents and staff who were in close contact with the COVID positive individuals have been notified and instructed to watch for signs and symptoms within five days of the reported positive test results.
I strongly urge anyone who is informed that they were in direct contact, within 6 feet and without a mask, with a COVID positive individual, to heed the advice of semi-isolating for five days while watching for signs or symptoms of COVID. This will help to avoid any further spread of the virus.
We remain committed to staying mask free at WEL Upper Moreland. I urge you to consider wearing a mask if you have a cough or any of the signs and symptoms of COVID-19. Please make the right decisions for the health and safety of our entire community.
Thank you and stay WEL!
