Update for all WEL Main Line Residents and Staff– 9/13/2021

Over the weekend, we had a fully vaccinated staff member test positive.  They were showing symptoms so please keep them in your thoughts.  The staff member works in dining services and does not have significant close contact with residents.  Since the positive test is not in the Meadows(healthcare) or in the Pines(personal care) units, visitation is not affected.  We have had no positives since March 2021.

Please remember to notify wellness if you are feeling unwell and staff should contact their supervisors for direction on what to do if you feel symptoms.  We are a fully vaccinated staff so we should feel comforted in the fact that we have done all we can to keep any positive cases from growing into an outbreak.  I keep track of cases in local and state community’s positives and we are one of very few that have been able to avoid positives for this period of time.  This is one of the reasons we continue to harp on mask use and maintaining some controls on what we can control.  I thank you all for you ongoing vigilance and will keep you informed if there are any other positive cases or changes in protocols.
