We have had no new positives in Meadows this past week.  A reminder that we now test monthly due to the positivity rate and the fact that we have had more than 2 weeks without a new positive.

We had no new positives in the staff this past week.  We will continue to rapid test staff twice a week, out of an abundance of caution.

We continue to have no positives in the Pines. 

We have no positives in Independent Living.

The positivity rate in Delaware County has continued to rise and is now at 9% for the last week.  If it goes above 10%, we will need to stop indoor visitation for Meadows.

Our first onsite vaccine clinic with Springfield Pharmacy is this Wednesday and we will be able to vaccinate new staff and also new resident’s onsite.  This will be ongoing for the foreseeable future.

The most recent information about the percentage of vaccinated is approximately 50% of Pennsylvania residents have gotten at least their first shot.  This is a good milestone and if we can continue to drive the message that the vaccine is the next step in clearing this pandemic, we should be able to see more light at the end of the tunnel.  As we continue to push forward, please continue to maintain vigilance and safe practices.  There are still too many unknowns to feel like we have crossed any finish lines.  Stay safe and keep the faith!
