Update for all WEL Main Line Residents and Staff– 2/11/2022

This week, we have seen 3 new positives in the Meadows with no symptoms and fully vaccinated/boosted. We have no new positives in the Pines or in Independent Living.  We have had one new staff positive in the week.  We will continue to test in the Meadows until we see 2 straight weeks with no positives.  As always, contact wellness if you have any concerns.

The positivity in Delaware County has gone to 9.4% down from 20.2% last week. A significant drop!  The hope is that we continue to see it drop below 5% just as quickly.  As a historical note, the last week it was below 10% was last December 11th.  Almost exactly 2 months’ time from the start of the Omicron wave to today.  The high point was January 7th at over 40%.  We thankfully have seen the results of full vaccination and boosters in our residents and avoided any significant outcomes with this most recent wave.  Stay well!
