Update for all WEL Main Line Residents and Staff– 11/12/2021

We completed testing again in the Meadows due to the requirement for 2 weeks with no positives and had another new positive.  As with the other cases we reported earlier, this positive resident shows no symptoms, is fully vaccinated, including the booster.  The resident in question had been out to the hospital recently, so perhaps that is where the contact occurred.  Still relieved that we continue to see no symptoms with these positives.  We had one staff member who had not worked in a while and came in for testing due to symptoms come up positive.  Please keep them in your thoughts.  There are no new positives in any other unit.  Once again, since we are fully vaccinated, we do not need to change any visitation policies.  We have reviewed our situation with the state Dept of Health and they concur.  We will continue to test until we have 2 weeks without any positives.  Delaware County ticked up slightly to 5.4% from 5.1% positivity.

As always, please remember to notify wellness if you are feeling unwell and staff should contact their supervisors for direction on what to do if you feel symptoms.
