Update for all WEL Main Line Residents and Staff– 1/7/2021

We have had no new positives in any unit with the rest of the testing done due to the positives earlier in the week.  The positives residents we have in Pines and Meadows continue to recover.  We have not had any new staff positives since earlier in the week.  Needless to say, we are relieved at the results.

The positivity in Delaware County has gone to 40.1% from 25.5% last week. Pennsylvania has a positivity rate of 34.1%.  These are significant numbers.  We were happy to see higher numbers this past Monday at our booster clinic.  We will continue to have the clinics ongoing thanks to our pharmacy partner Springfield Pharmacy.

I struggle to make any type of proclamation or suggestion, but I want to thank everyone who receives these memos for maintaining your faith in each other as we work our way through this difficult time, once again.  The fervent hope is that we will see an end soon with this current wave and this variant continues to be a milder form and severe illnesses stay low.  Keep you guard up and take care of each other.
