Update for all WEL Burholme Residents and Families– 3/4/2021

Dear Residents, Families and Employees,

Wesley Enhanced Living Burholme had a second dose vaccination clinic on Sunday February 28th. The clinic went very smooth with all residents who received a first dose receiving their second dose of vaccine. Two residents received their first dose of vaccine making 100% of the residents having at least one dose of vaccine. The final clinic to receive the second dose of vaccine is scheduled for Sunday March 21st.

The current positivity rate in Philadelphia County is 4.9%. This is a decrease from last week’s percentage of 5.2%.

We are hopeful that with the decreasing number of positive cases in Philadelphia County along with the number of residents who have been vaccinated that we will be allowed to resume some forms of normalcy with activities, salon services, dining seating, outings and visitation.

I will keep you informed and updated as we progress toward reopening our community.

Please help us: “Resist the Urge and Help Fight the Surge!”

Thank you and stay WEL!

Daniel Frost

Executive Director
