Update for all WEL Burholme Residents and Families– 1/08/2021

Dear Residents, Families and employees,

I hope that your holidays were enjoyable. I am very hopeful with the flip of the calendar and the beginning of a new year.

At Wesley Enhanced Living Burholme we continue to:

Resist the Urge and Help Fight the Surge!”

Philadelphia County has experienced an increase in the positivity rate from 11.3% a week ago to 12.1% this past reporting week. At WEL Burholme we have not had any new cases among our residents or staff.

Our staff is working hard to find ways to enhance life while remaining cautious due to the pandemic. I am reviewing how we will be able to reopen the Salon for services. I hope to have an answer before the end of the month.

We continue to wait for information about the COVID vaccination for our Personal Care residents and our staff. We partnered with CVS for the vaccination process. I contacted our state representative, Jared Solomon, for assistance with information and scheduling. I will keep you updated as more information is available.
