Dear UM Residents and Families,

At approximately 12:20 pm today, strong storms moved through our campus. All residents and staff are safe but we have lost power and phone service. PECO and local emergency responses have been notified.

We believe the power outage is from a tree leaning in the power lines on Byberry Rd so restoration may take time.

We are ordering pizza for dinner and will serve it with salad, dessert and a water bottle. The lasagna wasn’t cooked yet!

We will provide ongoing updates on the situation.
