Good evening Upper Moreland Residents and Families,

This is Maureen Casey with an update. Upper Moreland continues to be without power, including phones and internet service.

We have staff on site providing support and monitoring the situation. We have spoken with PECO and have been advised that power will likely not be restored until 9pm tomorrow night, June 4th. We have also been contacted by a representative from Upper Moreland Township to ensure our campus was safe. Upper Moreland will be contacting PECO in the morning to advocate that WEL Upper Moreland be prioritized for power restoration.

Additionally, there is new information on our website regarding Phase II, the YELLOW Phase for Upper Moreland. Of note, the IL residents may now leave campus and residents residing in Personal Care may leave beginning June 15. The letter provides more detailed information and is on our website under the Upper Moreland Community Updates.
