IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR September 2, 2021

Dear Residents, Families and Employees:

Testing completed this past week revealed one new employee case of COVID-19.  Although there are breakthrough cases, the severity of the illness is significantly lessened for those who have been vaccinated.

Please wear facemasks always covering both your nose and mouth when in public areas; wash your hands frequently and be sensitive to social distances.

We are very thankful to all our staff who received their COVID-19 vaccination by the August 31 timeline that was mandated by WEL.  Unfortunately, we did have three employees who refused to receive the vaccination, we wish them well in their future endeavors.  As part of the on-going COVID-19 vaccination program, all staff working within the WEL organization will be receiving booster shots, as recommended, within the next several weeks.  We are currently working on the plan for the booster clinics.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me directly at the email address slachman@wel.org or by phone.

Stay well,

Suzanne H. Lachman, LNHA
