IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR November 12, 2021

Dear Residents, Families and Employees:

The COVID transmission rate in Philadelphia has increased, to “High” and the positivity rate creeped back up to 3.46%.  I am pleased to share that we have no new cases.  Remember, masks must be worn covering your nose and mouth, throughout the community.  Masks are required in public areas, regardless of how many people are around, or if no one is.

We are very happy to report that the SARA system has been effective and is working well, with very few “false alarms.”  Thank you for patience as we worked on the installation of this system, had it stalled by COVID, and finally saw it come to a close.

As we approaching Thanksgiving, I want to share that we will not be welcoming visitors to our Thanksgiving table for dinner.  If families would like to make dinner in a resident’s apartment, please do, that would be delightful.  We will not be able to have guests in the Fireside Dining Room.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me directly at the email address slachman@wel.org or by phone at 267.348.3340.

Stay well,

Suzanne H. Lachman, LNHA

Executive Director
