IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR June 30, 2021

Dear Residents, Families and Employees:

COVID:

We continue to celebrate the fact that we have had no new positive cases of COVID.  The monthly testing will be taking place on July 6 & 7, 2021 for employees and residents in personal care and the health center.

As a reminder, we are still in a pandemic, despite the loosening of many requirements around facemasks and social distancing.  It is still necessary for everyone who is in the community to wear a facemask whenever in public areas.

DINING:

For our independent living residents, I want to take this opportunity to remind you that the Dining Points Program will be in effect beginning tomorrow, July 1.  Please let us know if you have any questions – we are here to assist you in any way we can.  You have been using the menu with the associated points, and hopefully have grown comfortable with the points and how it will work.  As of this time, everyone’s account is loaded with 465 points to coincide with the 31 day month of July.  You will receive a receipt each day that will show you the balance of your remaining points.

OTHER:

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you a very safe and Happy July 4th!

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me directly at the email address slachman@wel.org or by phone.

Stay well,

Suzanne H. Lachman, LNHA
