Dear Residents, Families and Employees:
We continue to remain COVID-19 free. The positivity rate in Philadelphia has increased this past week to 2.7%, and we will continue to monitor the positivity rate to determine the need for increased COVID testing. Masks are not optional and must cover your nose and mouth.
This is the end of our first month utilizing the dining points program. It has gone relatively well, and we have seen more people in the Bistro and in the Fireside Dining Room. A most welcome sight to see the Bistro more active. As part of the dining program, I would like to remind you that dinner seatings are at 4:00 and 5:30 p.m. I would ask that those who are seated at 5:30 come closer to that time, or visit with each other in the courtyard or lobby, not at the Fireside Dining Room. I have had complaints of “heckling” of the first seating folks by second seating folks who are waiting.
We are all equal, we are all to be treated with respect, dignity and kindness. All means every resident in our community, and every employee. Not one of us is more important or better than the next person, without exception.
Please do your part, get vaccinated if you have not done so already. Walk-in vaccinations are available at various pharmacies such as Walgreen’s, Rite-Aid and CVS. Our pharmacy partner, Friendship Pharmacy, is also offering COVID-19 vaccinations by appointment.
