Dear Residents, Families and Employees:
Unfortunately, since my last communication on April 22nd, we have had two new cases of COVID. Late on Friday, April 22nd a Personal Care employee notified us that, she was positive. She had not worked since April 19th. We did contact tracing and tested those residents she cared for. Out of the testing, one Personal Care Resident did test positive. Again, contact tracing was completed. Today, we once again tested those residents who had exposure, and they were negative.
The positivity level for Pennsylvania is now 5 – 7.9%. For Bucks County, the transmission rate remains at the substantial level. The 7-day metric for positivity in Bucks County as of today is still 6.9%, the same as it was on April 22nd.
As a reminder, please always be diligent with your own infection control protocols.
The community continues to follow all previously announced screening protocols when you enter our community and during your visit. All visitors and employees are required to wear masks at all times (except when drinking or eating). For residents, we continue to strongly encourage the use of masks.
As always, it is a true pleasure to serve you. For any questions, you may contact me directly at ldukert@wesleyenhancedliving.org or 267-895-1132. Internally, my extension is 502.
Respectfully,
Lynne Dukert, NHA, PCHA
Executive Director
