Dear Residents, Families and Employees:
It is with deep sadness that a resident who was positive for COVID-19 in Personal Care did pass away late last week. COVID-19 was a contributing factor. Our condolences have gone out to the family. Also, since my last communication on May 26th, we have had 1 new case of COVID, an employee in the Health Center. Contact tracing has been done. We have continued with outbreak testing of residents and staff in the Health Center and Personal Care, all yielding negative results.
The positivity level for the state of Pennsylvania remains at 15.0 – 19.9%. For Bucks County, the transmission rate continues to be high. The 7-day metric for positivity in Bucks County as of today decreased slightly to 15.08%.
Please refer to all previous guidelines I sent you with respect to Infection Control, there have not been any changes. All of us must remain diligent in reducing the spread of COVID.
As always, it is a true pleasure to serve you. For any questions, you may contact me directly at ldukert@wesleyenhancedliving.org or 267-895-1132. Internally, my extension is 502.
Respectfully,
Lynne Dukert, NHA, PCHA
