WEL Upper Moreland Update 09/01/2022
Dear Residents, Families, and Staff,
Chaplain:
It is with great pleasure that I announce the arrival of our new chaplain, Mark Budka.
Mark has a very diversified background. As pastor of Rancocas Valley Baptist Church, he encouraged the formation of healthy relationships that heal people and strengthen families in the community. Mark previously worked for Bank of America where he assisted clients with questions about their 401k accounts and retirement goals as a registered stockbroker.
For 15 years, Mark worked as an analytical chemist in the pharmaceutical industry. He even worked as an EMT and spent some time in Kenya as a missionary. He established small group Bible studies among Tugan people and trained Kenyans for leadership roles in the local church. Mark provided pastoral counseling in a cross-cultural setting. As part of a missionary team, he started three churches. In Mozambique, Mark taught in Portuguese at a Bible school to train local pastors to grow faith communities.
We are excited to have Mark join our team. Please be sure to welcome Mark to WEL Upper Moreland and wish him well in his new role.
General Manager of Dining Services:
I am sad to announce that Lori Shore, our General Manager of Dining Services, has given her resignation. Her last day as General Manager will be Friday September 9th. We have started to recruit for the position and have a few qualified candidates. I have begun interviewing already.
Lori has built a strong team that are very capable of maintaining the dining services during the transitional period.
Thank you and stay WEL!
Daniel Frost
