Residents and Families,
As you probably have read, Dr. Levine, Secretary of Health, has mandated that all Nursing Home (Health Care Center- HCC) Residents and Employees be tested for COVID 19 by 7/24/2020. We are in the process of completing the administrative portion of testing and registering all of our Residents in the HCC and Personal Care. We began testing of Employees on 6/18/2020. Once we get results we will make the Resident and their responsible person aware of the test results, as well as Employees will be advised of their personal test results. Any positive test results will be reported to the Philadelphia Department of Public Health as well as the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
Our gradual move to our Yellow Phase for Personal Care and Independent Living continues. Personal Care Residents have expressed great joy to be back in their dining room at Tree Tops and are again enjoying eggs made to order. Residents are enjoying the wonderful spring weather from our front porch and the drive way visits from family members have been a panacea. Please refer to my 6/11/2020 for a listing of all the other changes to restrictions.
As a reminder everyone in the community must wear a face mask; Residents must wear a face mask or some face covering that will cover the nose and mouth area, at all times in public, and practice social distancing of six feet (6’) distance from each other.
