Executive Director: Weekly COVID-19 Update January 6, 2021

Dear Residents, Families and Employees:

Unfortunately, I must report that we have two new positive COVID employees.  Results of other recent testing of residents, to date, reveal no positive cases.

As I shared in my January 4 memo, the initial clinic to vaccinate the health center residents and all of the staff, who consent, will take place Sunday, January 10.  We do not know the date of the second clinic at this time.  Once the second clinic date is determined, we will again need consent forms signed for participation in the vaccination program.

During the second clinic, the second vaccine will be provided to all participants on January 10; and the first vaccine will be offered to those who declined or did not participate during the January 10 vaccination clinic.

There will be a third and final clinic.  This clinic will strictly be to provide the second vaccination to people.  No first vaccinations will be provided during the third clinic.

We will have no information regarding personal care vaccinations or independent living.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have by phone or directly to my email.

Stay safe,

Suzanne H. Lachman, LNHA
