Executive Director: Weekly COVID-19 Update January 26, 2021

Dear Residents, Families and Employees:

We have the dates for all our vaccine clinics; the first will be Sunday, February 7 from 1100 to 1700 (11:00 am to 5:00pm).  The second clinic will be 2/28 and the third 3/21.  All clinics will be from 1100 to 1700 and I’m told they will be doing Residents first.  I still do not have any additional information back from CVS regarding how many vaccines they will be bringing and who they will be vaccinating.  We are being told that information will be provided around 2/3/21.  As soon as I know who exactly will be vaccinated, I will let everyone know.

The positivity rate in Philadelphia continues to decrease and is down to 7.4 %.  Now is not the time to let your guard down, we need to still be strongly following all the guidelines that have been in place for the last nine months or more.  Wear you mask, wash your hands, stay your distance, and together we can come back to each other in the near future.

For Health Care Residents, beginning today, all clothing brought in for HCC must be given to the Receptionist.  The Receptionist will place the Resident’s name in the bag and contact Housekeeping.  Housekeeping will take the clothing, label and inventory it, and then deliver it to the Residents room.
