Executive Director: Weekly COVID-19 Update December 2, 2020

Dear Residents, Families and Employees:

With the on-going testing of employees, we have one new positive staff member who is asymptomatic.  This staff member is assigned to health center 1.

The independent living residents tested last week revealed a second positive resident who is asymptomatic and quarantining in their apartment.  All other results were negative.  Re-testing of that original group will be conducted Thursday, December 3.  Those residents who are quarantined, but negative must remain quarantined for the 14 day period that began on November 24 – the phlebotomist will come to your apartment to obtain the specimen.

Also available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the small conference room on the 2nd floor, next to the elevator, will be testing for COVID-19 for any interested independent residents.  This is not mandatory – it is only an opportunity to be tested if you so desire.  Please bring your insurance cards with you.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have.

Stay well,

Suzanne H. Lachman, LNHA
