Executive Director: Weekly COVID-19 Update April 21, 2020

Residents and Families,

Thank you for so diligently following the procedures and precautions we’ve put in place over the last several weeks to help keep our community healthy and best limit the spread of COVID-19. By following these practical, prudent measures – such as strict social distancing, regular cleaning of surfaces and monitoring our health – we are all doing our part in this fight.

As this pandemic persists, we remain committed to updating you on a regular basis as any relevant information becomes available.

At this time, we are caring for multiple Residents here at Wesley Enhanced Living at Stapeley that have tested positive for the virus; they are all in isolation. We have one Resident from our Bridges Neighborhood who tested positive while in the hospital. Sadly, we had some residents pass away, suffering from multiple conditions and some had tested positive for COVID as well. Please join us in keeping these residents and their loved ones in your thoughts.

Additionally, members of our team remain at home in self-quarantine who have either tested positive or are experiencing mild symptoms.  Employees who were in self-isolation have been following the CDC return to work guidelines and some have returned to work.  Please continue to have these members of our extended WEL family in your thoughts.

If you begin to experience any symptom of COVID-19, including shortness of breath, a fever or a cough, please contact our healthcare team right away.  Or, should you need any other assistance, please reach out to us at 215-991-7101.

Please take care of yourselves, and we will be in touch again soon.
