OPERATION NIGHTLIGHT
As a safety measure, we are distributing to apartment dwellers small plug-in nightlights, suggested for use in bathroom. We’ll be starting with apartments on the 5th floor. We will be soliciting input and feedback from those residents before we proceed with a wider distribution.
VACCINATION for Covid19
Vaccination available in house is scheduled for next week on Thursday, July 29 and then the week of August 16 (2nd dose), for employees and residents. We appreciate the assistance of Friendship Pharmacy that provides drug services for our Skilled Nursing and Personal Care programs. They are providing the Moderna product. It’s also acceptable to receive the vaccination at local availability sites, providing proof of vax to Wesley Enhanced Living Doylestown. Of course, those already vaccinated need only show their vaccination card to Kelly Herrmann [for employees] or Wellness office nurse, Marci Farbotnik or Jill Schlosser [for residents].
As observed nationwide, the positivity rate is creeping upwardly and for Bucks County: the rate is 2.2%. Again, the best defense we have against the covid 19 virus and the more contagious delta variant, is vaccination. In our setting, it is both respectful to those we are around daily and a safe way to battle a world outbreak. All of which is the rationale for making vaccination mandatory for employees and strongly recommended for all residents.
MEN’S HAIRCUTS
On a trial basis, we will welcome a mobile barber on wheels to our campus on Monday, August 9th at 10am. Modern Male will see to it that men who sign up will look their best. Watch for registration details.
