Dear Residents, Families and Employees:
The COVID transmission rate in Bucks County remains high and the 7-day metric for positivity as of today is now 5.9%. We have not had any new cases by staff or residents at our community. The COVID-19 booster clinics last week resulted in high participation. We do now have the availability to provide Pfizer booster shots through our health center, which will be generally utilized for new residents and employees as needed. We encourage any residents who haven’t gotten the booster to date to please check with their doctor regarding their recommendation and related availability/scheduling opportunities.
As a reminder to all our residents and families, Medicare Open Enrollment has begun. If you have not already taken the opportunity to review your Medicare benefits coverage, now is the time! Open enrollment closes on December 7, 2021. You can visit www.Medicare.gov to review your coverage and make changes if you wish. Previously, I had informed everyone that Cigna is no longer offering the ISNP (Medicare Advantage) program starting 2022 in Pennsylvania. If you currently have the Cigna Medicare ISNP (Medicare Advantage Plan), you do need to change your plan. We encourage you to switch to a plan that we are contracted with in our Health Center.
