Executive Director update, 11/12/2021

Dear Residents, Families and Employees:

The COVID transmission rate in Bucks County remains high and the 7-day metric for positivity as of today is 6.66%. We have not had any new cases by staff or residents at our community. For Independent Living (IL) and Personal Care (PC) residents that received their booster outside of our community, please make sure you provide us a copy of your updated COVID-19 vaccine card. For IL, please provide the copy to Wellness and for PC to Kathy Pinzka. We encourage any residents who haven’t gotten the booster to date to please check with their doctor regarding their recommendation and related availability/scheduling opportunities.

Yesterday the community celebrated Veterans Day with our residents and employees with a lovely lunch and program. Both Senator Santarsiero and Congressman Fitzpatrick attended and presented to our veterans.

As you may be aware, the labor market is struggling, which is a national issue. However, for residents and families who may have children or grandchildren at least 15 years of age on up, we offer a great opportunity in Dining Services for server positions. We are more than happy to work through the activity schedules that high school and college students have and offer great working hours.
