Executive Director update 10/21/2021

Dear Residents, Families and Employees:

The COVID transmission rate in Philadelphia remains high and the positivity rate went up slightly to 4.43%, we continue to have no new cases. Remember, masks must be worn covering your nose and mouth, throughout the community.

Masks are required in public areas, regardless of how many people are around, or if no one is.

The second COVID vaccination booster clinic will take place on Monday, October 25 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM for residents and employees.

Flu vaccines and PPDs are currently being administered to the employees, concluding today.

We continue to be on schedule to implement the “SARA” system on November 1. Again, I would like to remind all residents in personal care and independent living that this is a pendant system and residents are strongly encouraged to wear your pendant at all times, after we have issued them to everyone. More information will be forthcoming.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me directly at the email address slachman@wel.org or by phone at 267.348.3340.

Stay well,

Suzanne H. Lachman, LNHA
Executive Director
