Dear Residents, Families and Employees:
Since my last memo of 1/6/2022, we tested all Residents and four additional HCC Residents were positive for COVID-19. These Residents were relocated to our red-zone quarantine area. In addition, through symptom-based testing, two PC Employees were identified as positive. We will begin testing of all Employees and will continue testing per CDC guidelines until we have two weeks without any additional positive cases. All Employees are required to wear a tight-fitting mask and eye protection when in our HCC.
The following guidelines are still in effect:
- Visitors who have a positive COVID-19 test, symptoms of COVID-19 or currently meet the criteria for quarantine (exposed, potentially positive) should not enter the community.
- Hand hygiene is required, Face mask covering the mouth and nose is required.
- Six feet distance between people is required.
- All visitors are strongly encouraged to have their COVID-19 vaccination or to receive the COVID-19 vaccination.
While it is not required at this time, I strongly recommend everyone keeps travel and visits to only what is medically necessary for at least the next two weeks. Predications indicate that this current wave of infection will wane by then.
