Executive Director COVID update 1/7/2021

Dear Residents, Families and Employees:

Welcome 2021!   Although we still have many of the same challenges we had in 2020, it’s a bright new year and good things are on the way.  While we are waiting to hear about the dates for our vaccine clinics, the Team here is actively gathering signed consent forms and copies of insurance cards to assure smooth operations when the vaccination team arrives here at Stapeley.  The rollout is still scheduled by CDC/CVS with Health Care Residents and Employees in the first phase, 1A.  I was informed yesterday that we should know our scheduled date by 1/13/2021.  There are no new updates for Personal Care or Independent Living Residents as of yet.

Since Christmas, we have three Employees who tested positive and no new Residents.  When we are able to go two weeks without any new positive cases, and the infection rate in the community around us drops below 10%, we can again begin to discuss visitation and opening dining rooms.

Sincerely,

Ken Beiler

Executive Director
