Executive Director COVID-19 update 2/8/2021

Dear Residents, Families and Employees:

The day we had been waiting so eagerly for what happened yesterday; our first vaccine clinic!  It went off like clockwork.  Four vaccinators and one clerk from CVS arrived in the morning, got set up, and delivered the first vaccine by noon.  The Team that came here was extremely accommodating and went to every Resident room and apartment delivering the game-changing vaccine.  Every Resident at every level of care who wanted a vaccine received one.  Employees were met with cheers and applause as they entered the dining room after receiving their vaccine.

Our next clinic is set for Sunday, 2/28, from 11:00 to 5:00.  If history is any indicator of the future, this will be another great day.  We are still not in the clear yet and need to maintain all the safety precautions we have been utilizing.  Stay safe and one day in the not too distant future, we will all come together again.

Hoping for the best, prepared for the worst, and unsurprised by anything in between.

Sincerely,
