Dear Residents, Families and Employees:

Results from the most recent testing revealed two new positive staff members.

As of this moment, I do not have updated information on the date for the vaccine. I did, however, see the state’s plan for distribution of the vaccine. I can confirm that the phase 1 plan has hospital workers first, skilled nursing residents and staff as phase 1a, and personal care in phase 1b. Again, no timeline available. We cannot stress enough the importance of receiving this vaccine. Our goal is 100% participation. I am not sure if you saw my interview on MSNBC, but I do earnestly believe that this vaccine is our only hope to return to “normal”.
