Executive Director: Weekly COVID-19 Update December 16, 2020

Dear Residents, Families and Employees:

Results from the most recent testing revealed two new positive health center staff members.

We continue to test staff two times each week and health center residents weekly. The personal care residents are tested on a monthly basis. I am happy to report that there are no known positive cases in independent living or personal care. Several residents in the health center who were in the “red zone” have come out of the quarantine area.

Based on a webinar I listened to yesterday, we anticipate that vaccinations for COVID-19 for frontline staff and health center residents will begin the last week of December. That is not confirmed, and I still have not received the consent forms. This is urgent and as soon as I have updated information, I will be getting it out to you.

We cannot stress enough the importance of receiving this vaccine. Our goal is 100% participation.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have by phone or directly to my email.

Stay safe,
