Executive Director COVID-19 update 12/15/2020

Over the past three weeks we conducted three rounds of COVID-19 testing for our residents and staff. Last week’s testing revealed all residents and staff were negative for the second week in a row.

We continue to monitor our staff and residents for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 and are following the guidance of our local and state health departments.

All of our staff members continue to follow public health recommendations to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19. These include monitoring temperatures upon arrival and leaving and questioning regarding COVID-19 symptoms and contacts. We also enforce strict handwashing procedures, hand sanitizing, wearing facemasks, not touching your face and social distancing when possible.

We are awaiting further information about the vaccinating of residents and staff. We anticipate having a short timeframe once we receive the informed consent forms and the assigned dates for the vaccinations.

We will keep you informed as soon as more information is available.

We thank you for your patience and understanding.

Sincerely,

Sis Wichterman, Personal Care Administrator
Sabrina Breeden, LPN
Daniel Frost, Executive Director
