Executive Director: Weekly COVID-19 Update December 12, 2020
Dear Residents, Families and Employees:
Results from the most recent testing revealed one new positive health center employee.
The Philadelphia Department of Public Health reported, during their weekly call on Friday, that we have not hit the peak of the Thanksgiving surge yet. They also reported that they do not expect numbers to begin to drop until mid-January. With the exception of only two or three positive staff members who self-reported and did not come to work, the other positive staff have been asymptomatic.
I have no further updates on the COVID-19 vaccine, but do expect to learn more information next week.
