COVID-19 Update

Dear Residents and Families,

We regret having to write to you so soon since our update yesterday. However, this morning we learned that one health center resident has tested positive for COVID-19. This resident had been sent out to the hospital, and tested positive while in the hospital. This resident is receiving treatment at the hospital at this time. We have been in touch with this residents’ family about this situation.

This development is a reminder of how important it is that we all play our part in limiting the spread of this virus. Please continue to adhere to the preventive measures we have implemented.

As a reminder, any resident who begins to experience a fever, cough or shortness of breath should inform a member of our WEL care team immediately. Thank you for your continued understanding and cooperation.

We remain dedicated to doing all we can to foster a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff. We will continue to share updates with you when possible, and we thank you for your continued support and vigilance during this unprecedented time.
