COVID-19 Update for all WEL Main Line Residents and Staff– 12/3/2020

We continue to test PC staff and residents and have had no new positives.  The resident who tested positive and then had a negative follow up has shown no symptoms.

We have had no new positives in our Meadows staff testing, which continues twice weekly due to the current positivity rate in Delaware County.  We also have no new positives or symptoms in any Meadows residents.

We have no new positives in Independent Living.

We are now a week out from Thanksgiving and the expectation is that the positivity rate should climb in the community due to travel and gatherings during the holiday.  Please continue to be vigilant with your surroundings.  Mask wearing continues to be your best defense.

As you may have seen in the news, the vaccine should soon be made available, with healthcare staff and nursing home and personal care residents being the first to have it administered.  There is a significant amount of logistical work to be done in the next few weeks and we will keep everyone informed.

Just as a continued reminder, we have a wellness staff person onsite 24 hrs a day, so even if Wellness office is closed, there is someone here to assist you if needed.  You can pull your cord which will alert them.  We also have security(#484-638-2364) 24 hrs a day if you have a need.  I will begin to maintain a closer involvement on a daily basis with the community, so you may see me onsite daily for some time.
