Wesley Enhanced Living Doylestown Visitation Update Addendum 4/6/2021

Because of the uptick in the Bucks County positivity rate, visits to PERSONAL CARE RESIDENT apartments are suspended also. Visitors may visit a resident out of doors or call the Front Desk at 215-345-4300 to schedule a conference room visit for up to two visitors.  At this time, there are no visits in resident apartments.

Executive Director COVID-19 update 3/31/2021

Dear Residents, Families and Employees:

We have another week with zero Residents or Employees testing positive here at Stapeley!  Visitation is going well and we are venturing ever so slowly towards normal.

For our Resident Family members of our Health Care Center Residents, we have added an additional location for visiting; our third floor conference room.  On warm days, you are also invited to visit with your loved one in our garden area.  Please continue to arrange your visits through our receptionists.

CDC requires that I remind you that visiting is not without risk and you still need to take every precaution possible including wearing a mask, handwashing, and six-feet social distancing.

On 3/30, you may have noticed a large crane in the Stapeley Hall parking lot.  It was here to install the new main chiller which will assist us in providing effective cooling for the building when summer heat hits.

Stay safe,

Ken Beiler

Executive Director, Wesley Enhanced Living at Stapeley

Update for all WEL Main Line Residents and Staff– 3/30/2021

We had no new positives with our staff over the weekend and no new ones with yesterday’s testing.

We had no new positives with the Meadows residents with their weekly testing.

We continue to have no positives in the Pines.

We have no positives in Independent Living. I again reviewed the vaccine percentages by state this morning and Pennsylvania is currently ranked 32rd.  The percentage is now 15.71%, up from 14.4% last Friday.  The number of fully vaccinated is now appx 2 million, up from 1.7 million last Friday.  There is another 1.5 million that are partially vaccinated.  If you add the partially vaccinated, the state percentage for those who have had at least one shot is appx 30%.  The total vaccine shots provided to date are now over 5 million.  The percentages are moving up a point or so daily and should continue to climb as we get more supply.

Eric Erickson

My sister in law found this place for my father in law. From the first experience everything was great. Yesterday we checked him in and all went as planned. So far he really likes the place. It's very clean and orderly. The staff is also quite nice. We think this will be a winner. Special thanks to Claire(coordinator) and Dave(maintenance) for their fantastic and warm help on his arrival day. Very much would recommend Wesley.
