Dear Residents, Families and Employees:
Since my last communication we have eight Residents in our HCC who have tested positive and one additional case of Team Members. We will continue testing of all Residents and Employees every five to seven days until we have two weeks with no new positive cases. Residents who were the first to test positive have ended their 10-day quarantine; communal dining and group functions in HCC are still on hold. I urge you to limit as much as feasible your visits to HCC.
The current positivity rate for Philadelphia is 8.9% which is down 0.42 from last week. Our COVID 19 community level is still high.
A new, more targeted booster has recently been approved that is focused on the current Omicron variant of the Covid virus. This is specifically a booster shot and is to be used in conjunction with the original vaccines from Moderna, Pfizer or any other initial vaccine protocol. There must be at least two months since your last vaccine or booster. We are working with our Pharmacy and when the booster is available, we will schedule vaccine clinics here in the community.
A reminder for visitors to our Bridges Neighborhood; please be sure to stand by the elevator when you arrive on the floor and assure no Residents get on. Thank you
