Charitable Giving  |  Wesley Enhanced Living Foundation

Supporting the tradition of caring and giving that has positively impacted resident life.

Wesley Enhanced Living Foundation (WELF) supports Wesley Enhanced Living residents and communities through its charitable giving program.  The Foundation is committed to providing opportunities that will support the tradition of caring and giving that has positively impacted resident life in the Wesley Enhanced Living communities for decades.

Donations are graciously accepted in any amount and can be made at any time of year.  If a donor chooses, a donation can be made in honor of a special occasion or as a memorial tribute for a life well-lived.

Ways to Gift to the Wesley Enhanced Living Foundation

There are a variety of ways you can provide support to the Wesley Enhanced Living communities, which include:

  • Cash gifts
  • Monthly pledges
  • Memorial gifts
  • Gifts in honor of someone you appreciate
  • Charitable gift annuities
  • Gifts of stock, bonds, and other equities
  • Insurance policy benefits
  • Provisions in your will

Options for Giving

The provision of benevolent care is at the heart of the Wesley Enhanced Living Foundation (WELF) mission.  The Foundation is committed to ensuring that no qualifying Wesley Enhanced Living resident be required to leave their residence because they exhausted their hard-earned retirement savings.  Thus, the Foundation extends benevolent funds to those qualifying persons to help cover the cost of room and board, medication, and insurance.

In addition to benevolent care, donations to the Foundation in recent years helped fund:

  • Capital Improvements such as the revitalization of Wesley Enhanced Living Pennypack Park
  • The James E. Tallman Meditation Chapel
  • The Dr. Emily Gibbes Memorial Prayer Chapel
  • Wheel Chair Accessible Vans

Donations to WELF can be made by cash, check, or credit card. For additional information or to learn more about how you can support WELF and the seniors we serve contact Jeff Petty, President & CEO at 215-354-0565 or jpetty@wel.org.
